Dance Team 2001

We had a team of 8 people, Tara Ballantine, Carl Ballantine, Karl Payne, Zoe Ballantine, Zoe Crane, Donna Kirkland, James Marshall and Victoria Atkin. We produced a dance and took it to the regional 'Dance for all' competition in Bourne Hall Ewell. We came runners up which gave us the opportunity to compete in the national finals taking place in Norfolk. we felt a great sense of achievement as when the project started in October none of the group had any experience of dance before.

We took the opportunity to go to Pontins Hemsby  Norfolk but unfortunately some people couldn't make it. So in the end we took a team of 7. Zoe Crane, Donna Kirkland, Mikalya Chennells, Victoria Atkin, Sam Anderson, Carrie Devonshire and Vikki Rigate. We had a great day out and finished 13th out of 15 teams which entered from Great Britain.
